After consulting with family and friends, today I am excited to announce my intention to seek the Progressive Conservative nomination in the district of Carbonear-Trinity-Bay de Verde. Elected as a councillor in the Town of Heart’s Content in 2021, I have enjoyed being an active community leader as well as representing the people, and I believe I can offer even more as a Member of the House of Assembly. As a participant in the regional Joint Councils, I’ve had the opportunity to hear about the challenges facing other communities in the district, in addition to having the chance to work with other community leaders to address regional issues.
I am acutely aware of the challenges facing our district and I am committed to providing a positive alternative through dedicated service. I have served the PC District Association faithfully since 2014, and most recently served as President for the past five years. I have worked with provincial leaders and residents of the district a number of times. I respectfully ask the residents of Carbonear-Trinity-Bay de Verde to place their trust in me to represent them in Government.
